Beijing Water Group and AnHeng Group cooperative project"Sustainable City Water Supply Network Leakage Control Solution" won the 2015 “Prize for City of the Future” launched by China International Economic and Exchange Center and Paulson Foundation, former Vice Premier Mr. Zeng Peiyan and former US Treasury Secretary Mr. Paulson presented the award to Beijing deputy mayor Mr. Lin Keqing, Mr. Lin Keqing made a speech and thanked the foundation on behalf of Beijing. Since 2013, China International Economic and Exchange Center and Paulson Foundation launched the "Prize for Cities of the Future", the award encourages the use of the most advanced action to promote sustainable development, called for more people to support sustainable development concept, and award the outstanding achievements city in China reviewed by the expert jury. Under former mayor of Chicago Richard Daley’s leadership, the jury based on the selection criteria to analyze and compare the advantages of each project, and then site visits the project and decide the final awards owner. This prize will be awarded annually to an urban development planning projects in China, to commend the project’s innovation and effectiveness solution to solve the key issues of urbanization.
